PMT 0108 Introduction to Welding (N)

Students build foundational skills required of professionals in the welding industry. Safe practices in the preparation of the work area, proper use of tools and equipment, along with handling of materials are emphasized. Student us math to solve practical problems utilized in the fabrication of weldments. Thermal cutting processes such as Oxy/Fuel and Plasma, and weld inspections and testing to industry codes and standards are also covered.
