PMT 0121 Shielded Metal Arc Welding Principles (N)
Students explore principles of Shielded Metal Arc Welding including power supplies, equipment set-up, joint configuration, electrode selection, electrode manipulation, arc control, and finished bead characteristics. Students complete fillet welds with different electrodes, and joint design in multiple positions, to industry standards.
