PRN 0004C Practical Nursing Fundamentals (N)
In this course, students learn the theoretical and clinical concepts of personal, family, and community health care relating to practical nursing. Students explore fundamental concepts such as recognizing the roles of the licensed practical nurse, current nursing practices, describing basic health needs, nutrition, pharmacology, human growth and development, body structure and function, interpersonal communications, psychosocial care, mental health, legal and ethical aspects of nursing, and applying basic nursing principles and skills.
