PRN 0373C Practical Nursing Medical Surgical I (N)
In this course, students assimilate the concepts of critical thinking as it relates to theoretical foundations to support clinical application of medical/surgical nursing through the lifespan. Students focus on the fundamental concepts (describing basic health needs, health promotion, client safety, collaboration), while exploring further physiological and psychosocial client care concepts and applying nursing principles and skills.
