Sports Turf, Landscape, and Horticulture Science

The program prepares students for careers in Sports Turf and Landscape Management while also enhancing the skills of those already working in the field. Courses include Horticulture, Entomology, Soils and Fertilizers, Integrated Pest Management, Irrigation, Application of Pesticides, and Turfgrass Science. Students can then customize their degree to their interests. Students interested in Sports Turf Management will take courses such as Golf Course Design, Maintenance Facility Management, and Integrated Pest Management for Turf. Landscape Management students will take courses in Landscape Design, Landscape Installation and Maintenance, and Insects and Diseases of Ornamental Plants.
