FFP 0031 Firefighting Academy II (N)
This course presents information on fire department communications and reporting requirements, building construction hazards and structural collapse, rescue ad extrication, maintenance of electric generators and lighting equipment, service testing fire hose, fire fighting foam, coordinating fire ground operations, advanced origin and cause, fire protection systems, conducting private dwelling fire safety surveys, Incident Command System, Florida Statewide Emergency Response Plan (SERP), air monitoring, emerging challenges for firefighters, and firefighter safety and survival.
