MUY 2100 Music and Music Therapy
This course is designed to provide educational resources for all participants to foster a basic understanding of how music is utilized for the remediation of a thought or behavior in individuals with exceptional challenges (students and adults with disabilities), and individuals of all ages who have physical and emotional challenges. Students will also acquire an in-depth awareness of available music-related resources and a better understanding of music in society. This course and all content, lessons, assignments and correspondence will be available through the IRSC Blackboard Internet portal. Must score into college level English and reading on placement test.
