EDF 2085 Introduction to Diversity & Exceptionalities for Educators

This course explores the multiple facets of diversity as represented in an educational setting. The value of diversity and commonality is emphasized with a focus on exploring diversity in the classroom including the elimination of barriers to cultural understanding. In addition to class lecture, 15 hours of field experience in appropriately diverse settings is required.
