HIM 2506 Quality Assessment

In this course, students study quality assurance, quality improvement, utilization management, risk management, recredentialing, and infection control for health information management. Students explore tools for improving the quality of patient care and services rendered including analysis of records and identification of inconsistencies, omissions, or patient care problems through screening mechanisms.
